Open positions

Available PhD and Postdoc positions are limited, but we will always make efforts to finance excellent candidates and encourage them to apply.

Master and Diploma students, as well as highly motivated medical students seeking an experimental Dr. med. thesis (at least 8 months full time), are more than welcome to send an application, by e-mail or regular mail. Although our department is not part of the Faculty of Biology, we have established the due procedures to enrol students of Biology, Molecular Biology, Molecular Medicine, and others - please inquire.

• A cover letter with your contact information and (optionally) a brief description of your motivation to join our group
• Your CV
• Exam results: pre-diploma, bachelor and final high school exam (Abitur or equivalent). Please do not send original documents
• Contact information of two or three referees (typically supervisors of previous lab rotations)
