Thank you for your interest in our work. The following pages will introduce you to our research on cancer and infectious agents, and to our efforts in supporting students and the next generations of scientists.
Our research groups are each exploring cancer and its molecular mechanisms. The key question is how cancer cells proliferate, and how we can interfere with cancer cell propagation through drug candidates. Surprisingly, similar therapeutic approaches can also work against infectious agents, especially against viruses, and we now set out to evaluate such approaches in our research.
Preparing our coworkers for their future careers is central to our efforts. Along this line, we established consortia to support doctoral and master students, clinician scientists, and medical students.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions, suggestions or proposals for collaboration.
With best wishes
